Startup businesses keep India’s economy vibrant and form the nation’s backbone by increasing employment, spurring
innovation, and injecting competition. Whether you are an aspiring founder or have already started a company,
GSF Academy is a powerful vehicle that will help you develop and explore business ideas in a like-minded environment.
With this program, our mission is to create a supportive community for founders,
to provide access to leading tech entrepreneurs and industry professionals, and to help budding founders validate their business.
GSF Academy is a 90-day program for entrepreneurs building from India. We bring together leaders (founders, VCs, and CxOs) from across the startup ecosystem to give sessions on company-building fundamentals, past startup experiences, and sector-specific learnings. Along with this, community learning is an integral part of the Academy where we will facilitate weekly interactions and group activities among peer founders. This is not an accelerator program – there is no equity stake, no terms and conditions.
This is a twelve-week program. Every week we will have two mentoring sessions on weekdays and one community engagement ‘Circle 8’ session on Saturdays. Sessions are 1.5 hours long and take place in the evenings between 5-7pm.
The GSF Academy is open for all, no matter where you are in the entrepreneurship journey. A founder with intriguing startup ideas scribbled on paper is just as much of a fit as a company with early PMF and a handful of paying customers.
Absolutely, community interactions and peer learning are the cornerstone of the Academy. We will have weekly sessions where you will be collaborating with other entrepreneurs on various business-building exercises. These sessions will take place in groups of eight called ‘Circle 8’, and founders will tackle various company specific challenges like GTM, market research, pricing, fundraising, hiring, etc.
We feel amazing founders sometimes don’t have access to equally exceptional talent and mentorship. GSF aims to democratize this and create a more supportive environment that enables others to succeed. The Academy also gives us a chance to work with founders early in their entrepreneurial path and potentially invest in the company later.
Yes, you will get an opportunity to present your startup to GSF and a select group of other investors at the end of the program.

We will select 10 teams for this project. Unlike an accelerator or bootcamp program, we don’t have daily time-bound sessions to school you. We host talks twice a week and invite topic experts to speak. Typically, these speakers are fintech startup founders, venture capitalists and industry veterans.
This project is more than just money. Our main objective is to engage with you by providing mentorship, right direction and preparation to scale. We provide you with a large network of experts and investors that you can leverage to scale your business and get prepared for the next round of funding.
We are looking for bright founders that have a conviction to solve complex problems through innovation. We are happy to back your team even if you have just built your MVP or have already attained a product market fit.
We invest in people before ideas. We wish to back entrepreneurs who have a strong sense of purpose. Our key objective is to spur innovation and our larger mission is to provide informed, knowledgeable mentorship capital to the start-ups.
Propelling a new company when the global economy is in unrest and the world is combating COVID-19 may seem overwhelming.
However, it is in times of disruption that we see the greatest opportunities as the customers' behavior and needs change opening up
demand for new products and solutions
Flipkart, Zomato, PolicyBazaar, WhatsApp, UBER, Salesforce, Airbnb are only some of the giants created during the 2008 financial crisis. GSF8 is our first-ever
virtual accelerator which can help you scale your business, validate your strategy, and launch it to a wider audience. For the batch of 2020, we will select five startups,
provide $150K in equity funding, conduct three months of intensive workshops, facilitate partnerships, and much more.
We are now inviting applications for the 2020 batch and are looking forward to hearing from startups who have built an MVP
(preferably with some traction) and have a strong founding team in place.
